![]() ![]() You may only equip one Prime Evil Soul Shard and one Lesser Evil Soul Shard at a time. Soul Shards cannot be traded, but can be salvaged or utilized in Caldesann’s Despair. Soul Shards and Hellforge Embers can drop from anywhere in Sanctuary, but Soul Shards have a higher chance to drop from Bosses. Each Soul Shard can be upgraded three times using a new seasonal-exclusive consumable, the Hellforge Ember. One of 3 Prime Evil Soul Shards can be equipped into Helms and one of 4 Lesser Evil Soul Shards can be equipped into Weapons. Nephalem can find 7 unique Soul Shards, based on the Lords of Hell, which give players demonic new powers. ![]() New Season Theme: Season 25 introduces a new type of socketable item called Soul Shards. ![]() The full list of updates is down below courtesy of Blizzard: Seasons The gold and materials will be a huge benefit at the start of the season, and will allow you to upgrade all of the artisans immediately and even be ready to extract powers as needed.Additionally, the Barbarian’s Hammer of the Ancients has also been adjusted, allowing players that prefer to wield the heavy weapon to do so in style. Once you finish the rift, you can join a game with your seasonal character and collect the rift rewards. ![]() At the start of the season, make a character and join a game, and then immediately exit and complete the challenge rift. I don't have any class tips, but the biggest tip I can give is to save your weekly challenge rift until after the season starts. If you choose to rebirth a character, you'll keep your "character" stats (gold earned, champions killed, time played, etc.), but you'll start at level 1 with no gear just like any other new character. Your characters will be otherwise unchanged, except for the fact that they are no longer seasonal characters.Īt the beginning of the next season, you have several choices: you can make a brand new character (assuming you have the requisite number of slots), or you can choose to "rebirth" an existing character. All of the xp you earned for paragon levels will be directly added to your existing xp for paragon levels (meaning if you have 100 paragon levels non-seasonal, and you have 100 paragon levels seasonal, you don't have 200 paragon levels at the end of the season-you have 145 paragon levels). Anything in your stash will end up in your non-seasonal mailbox. When the season ends, your characters will lose the seasonal tag. ![]()
